THE MUSIC

Each character possesses a unique sound and vibe that composer Max Restaino crafted to reflect true-to-life attitudes and values when women had little control over their health decisions. He explains, "The entire piece is composed in various music genres, incorporating humour to facilitate a dialogue about challenging themes. Restaino adds, "Music and humour are potent tools for expressing opposing opinions." Together with impactful lyrics, the characters illustrate how genetic research was initially met with uncertainty and even fear before it became accepted as a means to identify genetic predispositions, such as Breast Cancer (BRCA 1 and 2), leading to life-saving surgeries and informed decisions. The music offers something for everyone and is sure to get feet tapping throughout. the music in Bye- Bye Boobz is colourful, vibrant and varied. The score guarantees to entertain with theatrical numbers bursting with humour, energetic pop songs, and tear-jerking ballads
